North Garland Baptist
Fellowship has an extensive Serving Ministry to provide service for the
operation of the church. The Serving Ministries include:
hospitality committee, greeters, ushers, special functions organizers,
office staff support, decision counseling, and baptismal coordinator.
Hospitality Committee
Church members
responsible for organizing and implementing visitor's receptions,
anniversaries, special events and food preparation. The
maintain kitchen and fellowship hall cleanliness.
Greeters and Ushers
Church members
responsible for welcoming worshippers into the sanctuary and providing
assistance during worship services.
Special Functions
Organizers
Church members who
volunteer to organize and implement special functions such as church
anniversaries, picnics, and Thanksgiving dinner fellowship.
Office Staff Support
Church
members who work on an "as needed" basis to provide
administrative support to the pastor and staff with computer work and
advertising initiatives.
Decision Counseling
Church
members willing to be trained to counsel those who come forward during
the invitation to accept Jesus Christ and/or unite with the church.
Baptismal Coordinators
Church members
who organize all baptisms, including arranging the baptismal pool
and contacting the candidates to set up the baptismal dates.
